Comparison Matrix – Vertailutaulukko

This matrix has been used in a workshop with representatives of different units in order to compare how do we do client research and user studies in the organisation. It is useful to map a) the goal of the study, b) people involved, c) method, d)process and e)users or clients involved. Doing a comparison is one way of exploring and understanding our work.

As part of the “CLIENT” project lead by the Client Service group, we lead a workshop with the goal of mapping how different units do client research. By better understanding our internal practices in relation to client research, we propose directions and ensure consistency through all the organisation. Also, we could copy best practices from one unit that have successful results.
After doing this comparison we were positively surprised about the variety of methods and that most of the units have been doing client research. Qualitative and quantitative aproaches were used.
